Jaci Velasquez and her husband Nic Gonzales, frontman for Salvador, will host the pre-show ceremony of the 41st Annual Dove Awards, to be held April 21st at the Acuff Theatre, part of the Grand Ole Opry Entertainment Complex in Nashville, Tennessee.
Nashville Publicity Group’s 8th annual Dove Awards Week showcase event – The Dog & Pony Show – will be held on Tuesday, April 20th from 7pm-11pm at the Historic Berger Building (162 Rosa L. Parks Blvd) in downtown Nashville. Sponsored by Letters to God: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, the concert event will feature rare, intimate performances from a few new artists as well as some of the top names in Pop, Christian and Country Music! This year’s event will feature performances from Eliot Sloan, frontman for the multi-platinum rock/pop group Blessid Union of Souls, multi-platinum country superstar Collin Raye and 2010 GRAMMY winner Jason Crabb. Also scheduled to perform are hitmaker Regie Hamm, Miley Cyrus tourmates Everlife, Rachael Lampa, Callann Lane, Brad Mackeson, Chuck Tocco and Lainey Wright with special guest Paul Colman. NPG president Brian Mayes and longtime girlfriend Jessica Lewis were married on February 20th in a private ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee. NPG clients past & present played a big part in the celebration, with Joanne Cash, Everlife and The Imperials performing during the ceremony. At a reception held at Cannery Ballroom, Bryan Duncan & the Nehosoul Band served as the house band, Kevin Max performed his “On & On” for the bride & groom’s first dance, former Earth Wind & Fire vocalist Sheldon Reynolds performed a few of the band’s hits, and Rachael Lampa, Vail Johnson, Kevin LeVar and Jontez were all spotted on stage throughout the evening. The happy couple are honeymooning in the Caribbean.
